Alexis and Christian | Opal Key resort Key West Wedding
When Christian’s cousin introduced him to his friend Alexis, the start of a relationship was formed. Fast forwarding from there, they would eventually end up on a boat together, floating down the same river where they’d had their first date, and Christian proposed. It was only natural that between their love of the water and a love of the outdoors, that they should choose Key West for their destination wedding. This is where I met them and was able to capture their big day at the Opal Key Resort and Marina.
When Erik and Kim chose Key West for their elopement, they weren’t chasing grandeur—they were embracing intention. Their day was a beautiful reminder that love doesn’t need an audience to be profound. With the sun-drenched streets of Old Town as their aisle and the quiet stillness of the courthouse chapel as their venue, they celebrated in a way that was deeply personal and effortlessly elegant. From the iconic Kapok Tree to the hidden corners of Fort Zachary Taylor, every backdrop told part of their story—and we were honored to document it all. This is more than just an elopement recap; it’s a love letter to small weddings, thoughtful planning, and the kind of photography that captures not just how it looked, but how it felt.
